Consequential needs. Focused development.
Get clear on what leadership development matters most, for one leader, a leadership group, or a sustained organizational program, grounded in the work and realities of growing businesses.
STRIDE stands for Scope, Translate, Read, Identify, Design, and Evidence, the six-part way we think through leadership development, from what the business needs to proof that the work made a difference. This tool only puts the first three to use: Scope (what the business needs), Translate (where leadership shows up in the work), and a light version of Read (an initial hypothesis, not a validated one). Identify, Design, and Evidence (choosing the priority, building the practice, and proving the result) come later, once there has been a real conversation and real evidence to work from. What you get here is a starting point for that conversation, not a finished diagnosis.
